Substantial Multi-Layer Sauna Wall Construction

The quality of an outdoor sauna goes far beyond the visible timber finish.

Our sauna walls are built using several carefully arranged layers, with the complete wall structure measuring approximately 8–9 cm.

Hardwood Interior Cladding

The sauna interior can be finished with linden, aspen or alder panelling.

Heat-Reflective Film

Positioned between the interior cladding and the main wall.

Softwood Main Wall

The main structural wall is constructed from softwood.

30 mm Air Gap

A 30 mm air gap is left on the outside of the main wall.

OSB & Exterior Protection

The wall is covered with OSB before the exterior roofing or weather protection is applied.

All our saunas are impregnated with specialist spa sauna oil as part of the finishing process.
